Rubie Christine Leeper Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2024, at the age of 95, Rubie Christine Leeper of Herrin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Sylvia Tow (Townsend); her husband William E. "Bill" Leeper; her sister Dorothy; her brother-in-law Lynial Jennings; and her brother Charles Tow.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl; her son-in-law Tom Cundiff of Herrin; her children, Crystal Wade of Herrin and Randall Leeper of Herrin; her grandchildren, Ashley Cundiff of Herrin, Bobby Joe Wade (Geri) of Herrin, Matthew Cundiff of Herrin and James Cundiff of Herrin; her great grandchild Chevy of Herrin; and her sister-in-law Rose Tow of Herrin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home (201 S 13th St, Herrin, IL 62948). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
