He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Anthony Rester and Anson Scott Rester; and his siblings, Mabel Lezu, Lilly Harvel, Clyde "Bud" Donahue, George Robinson and Robert Burt.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Donahue of Herrin; his sons-in-law, Joni Cravens, Jamey Cravens of West Frankfort, Lisa Timmons and Darryl Newbolds of Marion; his son Mark Donahue; his grandchildren, Aron Rester, Alisha Rester, Justin Timmons (Lea), Nick Timmons (Jaimie), Macey Rumsey (Kyle) and Tyler Donahue; his great grandchildren, Brendon Timmons, Breanna Timmons, Brantley Timmons, Ezden Timmons, MaKenna Timmons and Hartlan Rumsey; his siblings, Irene Sherrard of Herrin, Pearl Hickey of Missouri and Harry Donahue; his sister-in-law Karen Donahue; and also, Dawn Sullivan and Carbondale.
