With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosalie Rounds of Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Rosalie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Rosalie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lombardo and Lena Lombardo (Lamatina); and her stepfather Billy Howell. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Rounds.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Van Natta Funeral Home (427 S Park Ave, Herrin, IL 62948). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the San Carlo Cemetery (1912 N 8th St, Herrin, IL 62948).
