He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Sollie" and Helen Nesler (Williams); his granddaughters, Braelyn Janae Nesler, Eliana Kathryn Nesler, Alexa Renee Nesler and Karissa Hazel Nesler; and his great grandchild Sophie Rae Coffey.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Nesler of Herrin; his daughter Jeannine; his son-in-law Toby Coffey of Herrin; his sons, John (Melissa Nesler) and James (Kim Nesler); his grandchildren, Jessica, Bart Gwaltney, Mindy, Adam Harrison, Toby, Corie Coffey, Bronson Nesler, Breanna Nesler, Marina Nesler, Caulden Lazenby, Chase Lazenby, Jake Nesler, Hannah Nesler and Kinsey Nesler; his great grandchildren, Cameran Gwaltney, J. J. Gwaltney, Josie Brandon, Brooklynn Brandon and Olivia Harrison; and his cousins, Doug Williams of Los Angles and Cindy Stacy of Herrin, IL..
