He is survived by: his spouse Iola M. Claus; his sons, Daniel, Lois of Herrin, IL, James, Janice of Lincoln, NE, David and Kathy of Council Bluffs, IA; and his siblings, Dale Kollars of Fairhaven, MA and Elaine Grashorn of Valley, NE. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the charity of the donor's choice in memory of Robert Kollars.
