He is survived by: his wife Carol French of Herrin; his children, Mike (Ruth French), Patrick (Kathie French), Dennis (Ginger French) and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Ian French, Bennett French, Madeline French, James French, Mikell Etherton, Aiden Porter, Shannon Bethune, Todd French, Rusty Knox and Sandy Kampenga; his great grandchildren, Garrett Withner, Alex French, Bar Bethune, Sloane Bethune, Cameron Smith, Tucker Knox, Kendall Knox, Gunner Knox, Katie Kampenga, Sarah Kampenga and Rachel Kampenga; and his pet Ducky.
