It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Derousse of Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis A. DeRousse and Margaret L. DeRousse (Louvall); and his siblings, Gerald DeRousse, Louis DeRousse, David DeRousee, Carol Johnson and Helen Basler.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy DeRousse of Johnston City, Gregory DeRousse (Debbie) of Herrin, Bryan DeRousse of Energy and Myra Craig (David) of Berea, KY; his grandchildren, Robert Nanney (Rebecca), Jessica Yudhistira (Gus), Lance Ridgeway (Kelsey), Amanda Rucker (Bryan), Collin Murrie, Scarlett DeRousse and Ashton DeRousse; his siblings, Donavon DeRousse (Betty), Lawrence DeRousse (Betty), Yvonne Heberle, Virginia Blythe and Margaret Welker; and his close friend Barb Davis. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested and may be made to the American Cancer Society; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
