He was predeceased by: his parent Captola Evelyn Helderman (Helderman); his wife Geneva Norma Jean Helderman (Cornwell); his children, Phillip Helderman and Tonya Darlene Helderman; his father Joseph Earl Helderman; and his siblings, Eulah Mae McClure and Donald Helderman.
He is survived by: his children, Chester Lynn Helderman (Tammy) and Rebecca Ann Hervey (Grover); and his sisters, Midge Gilbert, Karen Twitty and Doris Twitty. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one great great grandson.
