He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Gibbs; his daughters, Tammy Wood of Marion, IL and Tracy Newman of Herrin, IL; his grandchildren, Michael Newman (Sarah) of West Frankfort, IL, Matthew Newman of Carbondale, IL, Michelle Griffith (Mike) of Marion, IL and Mary Barnhart (Ian) of Carbondale, IL; and his great grandchildren, Norah Ember Newman of West Frankfort, IL, Kingston Eugene Ledger Newman of West Frankfort, IL, Lily Grace Newman of Carbondale, IL, Bastian Zao Barnhart of Carbondale, IL, Rowan Daniel Griffith of Marion, IL, Black Labrador, Milady and Norvel. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
