He was predeceased by: his sisters, Gloria Gatchalian and Norma Ragland. He is survived by: his children, Maria Michael (James) of Naperville, Tess Parker (Darren) of Energy, Dr. Eric Castro (Adrienne) of Libertyville and Dr. John Castro (Karen) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Lourdes N. Michael, Gage Parker, Jacob Parker, Lily Castro, Ava Castro, KateRyan Castro, Luke Castro, Jordan Castro, Kira Castro and Hunter Allen; and his siblings, Elizabeth Castro, Emma DeGuzman and Owen Diaz.
Memorial donations are suggested and may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 316 West Monroe Street, Herrin, IL 62948 and will be accepted at the funeral home.
