Martha May Horn Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha May Horn of Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Yates and Martha Yates (Patrick); her husband Raymond Eugene Horn; her son Randell Scott Horn; her siblings, Carl R. "Bubby" Yates, Elizabeth Gooden and Glenda L. Horn; her nephew David Lynn Holland; her parents-in-law, Lewis and Leta Horn; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald Horn, Tom Horn, Lewis "Sonny" Horn, Jr., Kenneth Horn, Robert Hall and Sharon Yates.

She is survived by: her sons, Garlan E. Horn (Melissa) of White Ash and Kevin Lee Horn of Peoria; her grandchildren, Lori Vincent (John) of Belleville and Scott William Horn of Goreville; her great grandchildren, Zachary Horn of Herrin, Gavin Horn of Herrin, Danica Horn of Herrin, Caysen Horn of Goreville and Brantley Vincent of Belleville; her siblings, Leah Mullins (Paul) of Freeman Spur, Brenda Bailey (Russell) of Herrin, Linda Holland (David) of Carterville, Cyndi Stout (Martin) of Herrin, Glenn Yates (Karla) of Energy, John Yates (Jessica) of Herrin and Joseph Yates of Marion; her sisters-in-law, Caroline Hall of Cambria and Mary Horn of Iowa Park, TX; and her son Carl Gooden (Shonna) of Herrin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including a special nephew.
