She was predeceased by: her parents, Hyman Murphy and Lucy Ann Murphy (Sizemore); her husband Richard Don "Dick" Maxey; her daughter Keely Jo Maxey of Freeman Spur; and her sister Joyce Ann Fisher.
She is survived by: her son Jeff R. Maxey (Vanessa) of Johnston City. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
