He is survived by: his wife Nadine Battioli of Herrin; his son John; his daughter-in-law Vicki Battioli of Metamora; his grandchildren, Jennifer Gratz (Jason) and Tommy Diesel (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Chase, Gage Diesel, Christian and Chloe Gratz.
