John Douglas Ansinelli Obituary

We bid farewell to John Douglas Ansinelli of Herrin, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 2, 2024 at the age of 82. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ansinelli and Lois Ansinelli (Hopper); his wife Janet Faye Lavender; his daughter Toni Ladd; and his brother Joe Ansinelli.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Patton (Tony), Kathy Gibson (Mark) and Valarie Fountain (Joe); his siblings, Rusty Ansinelli (Carol) and Nancy Woodhouse (Billy); and his siblings-in-law, Roy Lavender, Jim Lavender (Dawn) and Vivian Ansinelli. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home (201 S 13th St, Herrin, IL 62948). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
