He is survived by: his wife Jean Bright of Herrin; his daughter Deborah "Debbie" of Herrin; his son-in-law Jim Ebbert of Herrin; his grandson Robert James of Carterville; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Warren Ebbert of Carterville and Leah Claire Ebbert of Carterville; and also Kassie Ebbert of Carterville.

Memorial donations are suggested and may be made to St. Stephens Episcopal Church or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
