With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Fitzgerald (Herrin, Illinois), who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Hobbs and Essie Hobbs (Jackson); her daughter Marcia Gail; her grandson Brent; and her brothers, Donald and James Gordon Hobbs.
She is survived by: her son Scott Fitzgerald of Herrin; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Fitzgerald of Herrin; her granddaughters, Jessica Frederick (Joe) of Livonia, MI, Heather Adams (Terry) of Roanoke, VA and Aundria Fitzgerald of St. Louis; and her great grandchildren, Rebekah Joy, Abigail Adams of Roanoke, VA, Xander-Ryne Adams of Roanoke, VA and Jefferson Frederick of Livonia, MI.. She is also survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews.
