She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Tyner and Martha Tyner (Lansford); her spouse Gymple Lee "Smokey" Motsinger; her son Gary Gene Motsinger; her sister Claudean Beavers; and her grandson Larry Gene Flota.

She is survived by: her children, Luan Pope of Herrin, David Motsinger of Marion, Eric Motsinger of Cambria, Jon Motsinger of Chicago and Tom Motsinger of Paoli, Indiana; her daughters-in-law, Medra Motsinger of Royalton and Debbie Motsinger of Herrin; her brother Terry Tyner (Connie) of Cambria; and her grandchildren, Michelle Wallace, Rae Anne Motsinger, Kyla Motsinger, Micah Motsinger, Dusty Motsinger, Mackenzie Motsinger, Colin Motsinger, Brittany Motsinger, Larry Dean Pope and Keith Pope. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
