He was predeceased by: his parents, Demetre Chiagkouris and Christina Chiagkouris (Tzsoius). He is survived by: his wife Elaine Chiagkouris of Herrin; his children, George J. Chiagkouris, Jr. (Christine) of Darien, IL and Dimitra Hale (Randy) of Mulkeytown; and his grandchildren, Brandon Hale, Nicholas Hale, Alexis Hale and Katie Chiagkouris.
