He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe E. Mezo and Alene Mezo (Moake); and his brother Bud Mezo. He is survived by: his son F. L. Mezo (Dorothy) of Edwardsville, IL; his grandchildren, Joseph Mezo of Amarillo, TX and Maria Mezo of Edwardsville, IL; his sister Jody Murphy (Jim) of Herrin, IL; his former wife Dee Anderson of O'Fallon, IL; and his close friend Suzanne Restivo-Conley.
