She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sheppard and Ethel Sheppard (Ramsey); her brothers, Chester Sheppard, Harvey Sheppard, Daniel William Sheppard, Glen Sheppard, Fred Sheppard and Dean Sheppard; and her brother-in-law Rev. Lester Caraway.
She is survived by: her husband Tobe Newbold of Herrin; her daughters, Kendra Walsh (Aaron Emery), Barbara Walsh (Frank McGee) and Pam (Jim Lambert); her stepson Mike; her stepdaughter-in-law Tammy Newbold of Herrin; her grandchildren, David, Kendra Lambert of Marion, Misty, Justin Wyant of Benton, Robert, Jenny Walsh of Herrin, Raymond Walsh III of Herrin, Jason Sittig of Murphysboro and Andrea Sittig of Freeman Spur; her great grandchildren, Lucas Lenear, Sydney Lenear, Asher Wyant, Drew Wyant, Olivia Walsh, Clayton Walsh, River Sittig, Jaycee Sittig and Mickey Sittig; and her sister Delores Caraway of West Frankfort.
