It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Pauline Segers Kelley in Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delia Tanner and Douglas Holmes; her husband Elmer; her sons, Myrl Wendell and Gregory Deon; and her siblings, Ralph Holmes, Ray Holmes, Gilbert Holmes, Lawrence Holmes, Lola Ruth Holmes and Robbie Odom (Holmes).
She is survived by: her sons, James Elbert Segers (Lori Schemonia) and Greg Deon Segers (Dianne); her grandchildren, Brad (Amanda Segers), Shelly (Brent Cain) and Tally (Joe Taylor); her great grandchildren, Kaylee Barnes of Beau Barnes, A. J, Ava Segers, Zane Cain and Bobby Taylor; her great great grandchild Remi Harris; her sister Emma Bell Laningham; and her pet Tommy.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to her favorite foundation, St. Jude's Cystic Fibrosis or another organization of your choice. Donations will be accepted at the funeral home.
