It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Edwards (Herrin, Illinois), born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Lillian Anna Atkins (Bloom); her spouse Lawrence Lavern Edwards; and her brother Jimmy. She is survived by: her children, Robert Edwards (Patty) of Crainville, Frankie Edwards (Rhonda) of Carterville, Larry Edwards of Herrin, Annetta Eytalis (Ed) of Carbondale, Jannetta Edwards of Carterville and Lisa Tyner (Rick) of Royalton; her grandchildren, Bryan Edwards (Cassidy) of Carterville, Jessi Baker of Belleville and Derrick Owens of Freeman Spur; her great grandchildren, David Owens, Zayden Owens and Adelyn Edwards; and her brothers, Paul Atkins and Fred Atkins.
