It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Leon Kelley of Herrin, Illinois, born in Creal Springs, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Loyd and Ruby Kelley (Robertson); his sisters, Rose Marie Kelley, Louise Nicholson, Carolyn Groves and Lillian Kelley; and his niece Vicky Nicholson.
He is survived by: his wife Lucia Kelley of DeSoto, IL; and his children, Sarah Intravaia (Carlo) of Marion, IL and Christopher Kelley of Creal Springs, IL. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and other extended family and many friends.
