We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2021, at the age of 91, Dorothella Youngblood of Herrin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Grounds and Lillian Grounds (Bristow); her husband John Luther Youngblood; and her siblings, Larry E. Grounds, Elroy Grounds, A. W. "Abe" Grounds, Richard Grounds, Ernest Grounds, Maude Oglesby, Pauline Frick, Audrey Haynes, Betty Oliver and Arietta Hubbard.
She is survived by: her sons, John (Donna Youngblood) and Randy Youngblood of Herrin; her grandchildren, Ryan Youngblood (Amy) of Columbus, MS, Joel Youngblood (Amanda) of Herrin, Evan Youngblood (Tasha) of Herrin and Megan Bennett (Nathan) of Nashville, TN; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Abigail, Matthew, Jeremiah, Joseph, Kira, Naomi, Wesley Youngblood, Rachel and Miles Bennett; her siblings, Mary L. Cockburn of Johnston City and Bill; and her sister-in-law Juda Grounds of Johnston City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
