She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Nelson and Betty Nelson (Flannigan); and her husband Paul Joseph "P. J.". She is survived by: her daughters, Gina (Martin "Marty" Moffett), Cristina (J. C. Waddell) and Angie (Chris Cheatham); her grandchildren, Rebecca Moffett of Herrin, IL, Marin Moffett of Herrin, IL, Carina Cerniglia of Carterville, IL, Anthony Cerniglia of Herrin, IL, P. J. Huizenga of Herrin, IL, Gianni Cheatham of Mt. Vernon, IL, Cristiana Cheatham of Mt. Vernon, IL and Vincenzo Cheatham of Mt. Vernon, IL; her brothers, Craig Nelson of Downingtown, PA and Jeff Nelson of Downingtown, PA; her siblings-in-law, Kathie O'Connell, Georgianna Cerniglia, Mary Martha Cerniglia, Ted and Suellen Cerniglia; and her close friend Twilla Middleton of Herrin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
