He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch Franklin and Kathleen Franklin (Snyder); his wife Bonnie Rose Mays; and his siblings, Lynwood Franklin and Rilla Haught.
He is survived by: his sons, Monte Franklin (Bonnie) and Bruce "Bengi" Franklin; his grandchildren, Laura Long (Danny), Dru Franklin (Diann), Adam Franklin (Michelle), Kelsey Rohrer (Anthony) and Hayden Franklin; his great grandchildren, Ciara Severin (Jacob), Braxton Rose, Madeline Franklin, Aubrey Franklin, Grayson, Oliver and Rory Rohrer; his great great grandchildren, Chandler and Clayton Severin; and his siblings, Conrad Franklin and Corann Foy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
