With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Mitchell of Herrin, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Mitchell and Edith Mitchell (Jarvis); his wife Dianna Kay Allen; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his children, Charli Moss (Mark) of Herrin and Bryan Mitchell (Natasha) of Hurst; his grandchildren, Caleb Douthitt of Herrin, Micahel Moss (Madilyn) of Creal Springs, Madisyn McPherson (Justice) of Ft. Campbell, Alivia Hilliard of Hurst and Liberty Mitchell of Hurst; and his great grandchildren, Emmersyn McPherson and Jaxtyn McPherson.
