He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Leon and Cecilia Stacey (Elwood); his siblings, John Thomas Stacey, Bobby Stacey, Marianne Sloan and Sandy Houghlan; and his granddaughter Brianna Johnston.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Angie Hiller of Herrin; his children, David Todd Stacey (Rachel) of Johnston City, Shannon Stacey (Kellie McClure) of Herrin, Treena Stacey (Chad Johnston) of Herrin, Jon Stacey of Herrin and Chris Stacey (Troy Lacy) of Herrin; his brother Harvey Stacey; and his nieces, Natasha Hiller and Christina Hiller. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, social distancing is advised and the wearing of masks is encouraged.
