He is survived by: his sons, Patrick Poiter of Carbondale, IL and Robert Poiter of Plainsboro, NJ; his grandchildren, Caitlin Dooley of Godfrey, Heather Oliphant (Floyd) of Alto Pass and Meaghan Dooley of Herrin; his great grandchildren, Mason Oliphant, Rebekah Oliphant and Samuel Oliphant; his brother Maurice; his sister-in-law Shiela Poiter of Granite City, IL; and his daughter-in-law Sherry Stearns of Alto Pass.
