She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester William and Julia Iva Clark (Long); her husband Phillip W. Houston; and her siblings, Don Clark, Charles "Bocky" Clark, Shirley Brasher and Doris Krenzelak.
She is survived by: her son Brett (Bridget Ridgway); her grandchildren, Taylor (Morgan Ridgway), Isabella Ridgway of Herrin and Avery Mann of Herrin; her sister Judy; and her brother-in-law Mike Riley of Carterville, IL.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home (2704 S Park Ave, Herrin, IL 62948). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, 204 Halfway Road, Marion, IL 62959; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
