He is survived by: his close friend Sharon Finney; his daughter Robin Wheaton (Jeff) of Petersburg; his grandchildren, Kobe Wheaton and Tucker Anne Wheaton; his sister Trudy Peyton; and also Donna Hichens (Frank). He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
