She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence York and Martha York (Brookman); her sister Mae Marie York; and her close friend Willie Stanley. She is survived by: her children, Tina Avery, Cierra Stanley and Bill Avery; her siblings, Bridgett York, Karin Carch, Toby York (Peggy) and Donnie Ray York (Jodi); and her grandchildren, Jaylynn, Mallory and Octavious.
