He was predeceased by: his parents, Dayton Ladru and Bonnie Rose Franklin (Mays). He is survived by: his children, Kelsey Rohrer (Anthony), Adam Franklin (Michelle) and Hayden Franklin; his grandchildren, Grayson, Oliver, Rory, Quinn Rohrer, Aubrey and Madeline Franklin; and his brother Monte Franklin (Bonnie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
