With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Brenda Sue Johnson of Herrin, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mitchell and Jeanie Elaine Mitchell (Peffer); her husband Lester "Bud" Lavern Johnson; her son Ed Johnson; and her brother Mark Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha Johnson, Cristina Winstead and Kelly Black; her grandchildren, Shandale Johnson, Megan Diuguid (Jared), Chad Johnson and Noah Johnson; her great grandchildren, Payton Johnson, Ayden Johnson, Ely Johnson, Rickey Johnson, Camron Diuguid, Cooper Diuguid and Brooks Johnson; and her brother Darrell Mitchell (Mary Lou). She is also survived by her family, church community, and friends.
