She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ivan and Margaret Dillon (Foster); and her sister Roberta Jean Dillon.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home (201 S 13th St, Herrin, IL 62948). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Barbara loved to surround herself with gifts, but in lieu of flowers, she would love donations to be given to the Special Olympics.
