He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R. Collins (Lois Stanton) and Lois Durbin (Sheredith Durbin); his father-in-law Donald Sims; and his siblings, Joshua Durbin and Keri Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan Scott Collins of Herrick, IL, Preston Scott Collins (Camryn Burris), Samantha Collins and Brittney (James Allen) of Pana, IL; his grandchildren, Blake, Kyle, Clayton, Boone, Bennett and Maebrie; his pets, Monroe, Maddie and Spruce; his stepmother Sandy Durbin; his mothers-in-law, Belle Sims and Paula Lebon of Pana, IL; his siblings, Kendra Carter (Sydney) of Murfreesboro, TN, Kirtus Collins of Auburntown, TN and Dr. Kevin Collins of Decatur, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Dawn Henderson (Tom) of Bloomington, IL and April (Kyle). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCracken-Dean Funeral Home (308 E 2nd St, Pana, IL 62557). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Scott's honor may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
