He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chenoa and Henry; his wife Barbara Taylor; his children, Tami Dobbels (Bill) of Kewanee, Dawn Aldridge (Gordie) of Downs and Todd Mehrkens (Becky) of Clinton; his daughter-in-law Brenda Mehrkens of Mapleton; and his son Michael. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, four step grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild and one sister.
