Joy Nowak Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy Nowak of Henry, Illinois, born in Somerset, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joy Nowak to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her sisters, Ruth Ann Wiley (David) and Jo Ann Kingman; her siblings-in-law, Rosemary Kossak and Ray Spanier; her niece Sharon Ann Stephenson; and her great-niece Marina Lynette Allison.

She is survived by : her child Caitlynn (Rachel); her husband Joey D. Nowak; her daughter Nicole Bell of Henry; her granddaughters, Caitlynn and Rachel; her stepchildren, Natasha Hernandez of Wichita Falls, TX, Paul Nowak (Julie) of Brock, TX and Jody Nowak of Wichita Falls, TX; her stepgrandchildren, Kelsey, Joseph, Abigail, Carson, Rose, Haley, Hannah and Hunter; her siblings, Susan Greenwood of Pennsylvania, Nancy Possinger (John) of Massachusetts and Jim Pickering (Rita) of Colorado; her siblings-in-law, Jinny Spanier and David Kingman of Mississippi; her nieces, Kristen Peak (Larry), Angela Ruth Possinger, Carol Bell (Jeremy) and Cheryl Capes (Mark); her nephew Andrew Greenwood (Amanda); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah, Zachary Peak, Jessica Baio (Mitchaletty), Christopher Capes and Phillip Stephenson (Alyx); and also, Libby Baio, Matthew and Conor Privett. She is also survived by four step great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for the replacement of child care services after the loss of Joy.
