John B. Steele Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John B. Steele (Henry, Illinois), who passed away on May 22, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Steele and Rena Steele (Ballard); his sister Mary Clark Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Phillip and Emma Tarmann.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Downey; his children, Mike Steele (Michele) of Henry, Marcia Sutsser (Bill) of Varna, Judy Kissee (Joe Osborne) of Lacon, Mary Jo Robison (Dave) of Henry and Julie Schrowang (Gregg) of Peru; and his siblings, Joseph Steele (Clara) and Terry Olson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Henry American Legion or the St. John XIII Outreach.
