It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Saal of Henry, Illinois, born in Sparta, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Saal and Gladys Saal (Rednour); and his brother Leonard Lawrence Saal. He is survived by: his wife Laura "Jean" Duffield; his children, Laurie Ann Saal Riva (Kirk) of Springfield and Randy Saal (Rita) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Melissa Jean Suchy (Thomas) of Albuquerque, NM, Erica Brittin (Lee) of Springfield, IL, Derek Betzer (Allie) of Durango, CO, James Saal (Amanda) of Cedar City, UT and Nicole Osborn (Chris) of Sheffiel, IL; his great grandchildren, Kinsley Ann Brittin, Orson Suchy, Ellis Suchy, Levi Brittin and Kyrin Randall Saal; his siblings, Norm Saal (Peggy) of Mountain Home, AR, Kenny Saal (Linda), Emma Nelson of Princeton, IL, Jerry Saal (Connie) of Princeton, IL and Les Saal (Beth) of Tiskilwa, IL; and his sister-in-law Cheryle Owens of Henry, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
