She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Mattern and Gertrude Kapraun Mattern; her sons, Robert Patrick and Thomas Bradley; and her siblings, Henry Mattern (Hank), Clarence Mattern, Samuel Mattern and Theresa Maubach.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Steele (Linda) of Lansing, MI and Matthew Steele (Laurie) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Taryn Kramer (Mark) of Spring Valley, Ian Steele of Henry and Mari Steele of Ottawa; her great grandchildren, Elijah and Delta Kramer of Spring Valley; and her sister Grace Bogner.
