He is survived by: his wife Sheila Sjulin Girard; his children, Jeffrey Girard of St, Jennifer Girard of Marquette, MI, Brenda Girard Paris of Lakeview, MI, Dean Girard of Ames, IA and Karen Girard of Bernard, ME; his stepchildren, Jill Sjulin of Corning, IA and Jason Sjulin of Austin, TX; and his granddaughter Lydia Girard of Ames, IA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to Valley Community Church in SpringValley, Compassus Hospice in DeKalb, or Veterans Home in LaSalle.
