He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brouwer and Donna Brouwer (Baribeau); his son Charlie Brouwer; and his brother Charles Brouwer Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Gleason of Patrick's Catholic Church; his grandson Everett; his children, Ryan Brouwer (Laura) of Bay Shore, NY, Andrew Brouwer of Washington, IL and Jessica Leighton (Chris) of Hennepin; his siblings, David Brouwer of Gardner, IL, Cheryl Brouwer (Rory Bancroft) of Newnan, GA and Diane Pockat (Mike) of Minocqua, WI; his grandson Weston Leighton; and his extended family, Theodore "Ted" Doucette (late Marilyn), Ted (Angel), Mike, Vicki Doucette and Karen Podobinski (Tim).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Putnam County EMS, Hennepin Fire Department or St. Jude.
