He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Carter and Truilly Amolly Duff (VanDewoestine); his brothers-in-law, Fred Grubaugh and Francis Schatz; his niece Kimberly Grubaugh; his nephew David Duff; his in-laws, George F. and Mary Alvena Schatz; and his sister-in-law Mary Catherine Russell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond Duff (Delores) of Kewanee, Illinois and Delores Grubaugh; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Schatz (Delores Vogel) of Fraina, Robert Schatz (Corrine) of Dubuque, Iowa, Virginia Mansfield of Chesterfield and Dolores Peters (David) of Papillion, Nebraska. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Henderson Fire Department or a charity of the donor's choosing.
