He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Volpert; his parents, Charles Volpert and Aloysia Volpert; his siblings-in-law, James Ganey, Vernon Holzum, Herbert Holzum, Joseph Tenholder, Edward Logel, Gilbert Beussink, Lou Rubin, Von Counts and Beulah Beussink; and his parents-in-law, Edward and Josephine Holzum.
He is survived by: his children, Charles E. Volpert (Marlo) of Chatham, IL and Amy Rackers (Bruce) of O'Fallon, IL; his grandchildren, Chayce (Clare), Madison, Cru Volpert, Faith and Quin Rackers; his great grandchild Carrigan Volpert; his close friend Marilyn Haudrich; his sister Judy Ganey; and his siblings-in-law, Edna Rubin, Corrinne Tenholder, Connie Holzum, Carol Counts and Kenny Holzum (Diane). He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
