He is survived by: his children, Nancy Klimek (Michael), Mark Murphy (Linda), Mary Bixby (Bill), Kathy Murphy, Susan Tiernan (John), Elizabeth Burns (Bob), Laura Creagan (Dave), John Murphy, Tom Murphy (Jennifer Cienkus) and Tim Shay; and his brother Jack Murphy (Jane).
Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location.
