It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Murray of Hazel Crest, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Murray to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Murray and Martha Murray (Rowe). He is survived by: his wife Angela Murray of Hazel Crest; his children, Matthew Murray of Conway, Kathryn Murray (Charlie Corrigan) of LaGrange Park, Daniel Murray (Candice) of Hensley and David Murray (Jennifer) of Braidwood, Illinois; and his sisters, Kay Stonitsch (late Jerry) of Florida and Jane Carter (Don) of Osage Beach, Missouri.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Baskerville Funeral Home (700 E Kahler Rd, Wilmington, IL 60481). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (7600 W Jefferson St, Shorewood, IL 60431).
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Tom's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
