The passing of Tomislav Dukic of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 20, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Tomislav may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Tomislav touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dragoslava; his daughters, Lena Stinsa (Robert) and Julia Ellefson (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Isabella, Renata, Luca and Brooke.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McMurrough Funeral Chapel (101 Park Pl, Libertyville, IL 60048). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the New Gracanica Serbian Monastery (35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the New Gracanica Cemetery (35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60030).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the New Gracanica Serbian Monastery would be greatly appreciated.
