He was predeceased by: his parent Marcos D. Linares; and his parent-in-law Carlos Jimenez. He is survived by: his spouse Patricia; his children, Estefan J. and Natalia M.; his parent Gumercinda Contreras; his siblings, Elba Linares (Abelardo Arias) and Cesar Linares (Maria Diaz); his nieces and nephews, Adrian Linares, Miguel Arias, Diego Arias, Jorge Jimenez and David Jimenez; his parent-in-law Virginia Solano; his siblings-in-law, Gustavo Jimenez and Carlos Jimenez (Helen Alfaro); his close friend John Highland; and his pet Perlita.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the wishes of the family.
