It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valera C. Middleton of Havana, Illinois, who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Dye and Avis Dye (Dobson); her husband Wilfred R. Middleton; and her siblings, Barbara Bohanan, Grover "Buck" Dye, Louis Dye and Gary Dye.

She is survived by: her son Bob Middleton of Camdenton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Cora Middleton, Jeremy Middleton (Deb) and Julia Wilemon (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Samantha, Bruno and Ella Middleton; and her siblings, Linda Bailey, Judy Richardson, Mary Kolves, Kenneth Dye, Michael Dye and Allen Dye. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
